Situated in the western part of the ArenApoort area in Amsterdam, the Europlaza office building is part of the Station quarter: an important link in the development of ArenAPoort into a bustling multi-faceted urban centre where entertainment, living, working and shopping come together. SENS real estate is developing the location in collaboration with ASR Dutch Mobility Office Fund. In doing so the developers are looking beyond the office building itself: an integral urban design plan has been drawn up in collaboration with the neighbour NSI, of the Centerpoint office complex
The site is uniquely situated immediately next to Bijlmer ArenA Station and has the potential to form a link between the entertainment district around the Johan Cruijf ArenA, the office location around the railway and the new housing developments in the area. There is room around the existing Europlaza office building for a 130m and 70m high office and housing tower.
The expansion of Europlaza and the developments in the Station quarter will give a new impulse to the ArenAPoort. The area is being developed into a bustling multi-faceted urban centre where entertainment, living, working and shopping come together. A wide variety of facilities and businesses will be featured at street level, which will reinforce the vitality of the area and will connect it to its immediate surroundings.
